Running, volunteering and charity I love jogging and hiking. I've raised a little for charities through my half-marathons, and volunteered with ParkRun to help make free, family friendly, properly timed and measured weekend runs happen. The ParkRun events were lovely because they attracted so many different kinds of people from the local community, who could meet their neighbour, joke a bit, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee after the run and share a healthy fun time with each other.
